COAD Programs: Early Care and Education: Early Care and Education Scholarships GOAL: Since those caring and educating children need to provide the highest quality of care and experiences, providers need access to all levels of professional development opportunities. Besides training workshops and seminars, COAD-CCRN offers referrals to scholarship options.
Step Up To Quality – Ohio’s Voluntary Quality Rating System for licensed child care centers: Licensed child care centers in pilot counties of Athens, Hocking and Perry counties in Appalachian Ohio are eligible to participate in a scholarship program that offers either an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood or a Child Development Associate Credential. Participating centers work toward a quality rating of one to three stars, based on a standard system of quality criteria. NAEYC scholarships for Early Childhood Educators: The National Association for the Education of Young Children, a professional association of individuals in the Early Care and Education field, offers scholarships.
