What a beautiful memorial to a wonderful person.  He will be sadly missed by all the senior companions of Monroe/Noble Counties.  We know he truly cared about us!  Thank you Tim, until we see you again!

I was Tim's adjacent office mate for many years. I once told him that I would die at my desk and the only way he would know it was from the smell. His reply was that I was incorrect in that he would first notice how peacefully quiet it had become in the office. I believe I last talked with Tim on a summer's day at the Farmer's market. He was wearing a tie-dyed shirt and was talking about going to a concert. He was in the moment and gave me comfort.

One memory of Tim that stands out began at the Milwaukee airport following a Corporation for National Service conference.  On the day the conference ended Tim, Roger McCauley, Judy Hartman (our RSVP Coordinator) and I were at the airport getting ready to fly back to Columbus.  We were supposed to connect through Detroit, but our Northwest Airlines flight was cancelled due to thunder storms that extended from Alabama to Northern Michigan.  Three of us look at each other and thought “now what”.  Tim went up to the Northwest ticketing counter and calmly talked to the agent.  To make a long story short, we ended up on another airline in first class accommodations.  We flew around the storm, drank champagne, age biscotti and got back to Columbus an hour early. Thanks for the memory Tim.

As a senior staff here at COAD, Tim was responsible to be many places for many people. He spent countless hours on the road, managing out-stationed staff and overseeing volunteer programs. He often traveled with his loyal crew and shared the joys of day trips with his colleagues. They organized very successful recognition events that caused a buzz of excitement around the COAD region. Tim was proud to participate and show his support for the seniors’ network. He proudly represented the Senior Division as an advocate, a team member and a leader. When we got together in the main office, if only occasionally, Tim brought to our office a special camaraderie, a chance to boast or to commiserate together, and he always offered support and a beautiful smile.
We’ll miss you Tim.

These are not nessicarily professional work type pictures but there's nothing I've seen that is offensive, perhaps PG-13 for cigarettes or alcohol in the pictures.
